Connect & Engage to Elevate Each Other

LadyBoss Virtual is a fabulous community of incredibly talented ladies that inspire, motivate, and collaborate with one another in an authentic manner. We share inspiring, captivating stories that make me pause and think differently.

Our History

On a chilly December 2019 morning, Susan Auer and Sarah McNally met at a favorite breakfast spot in Minneapolis to connect with their whole selves - Professional and Personal. For whatever reason that day, the absence of women at the restaurant eating breakfast and conducting business was startling. Did we not notice this before? And it begged the question, why don't professional women meet for breakfast? We needed to find out.

The first and only in-person LadyBoss breakfast came on January 31, 2020, when it became clear that LadyBoss could provide an opportunity for women to connect with the goal of elevating each other so we can have the greatest impact in our workplaces and ultimately our lives.

In response to the pandemic, Sarah took the group online with the first virtual breakfast on March 27, 2020 and LadyBoss Virtual was created. Sarah added virtual assistant, Lucy Nelson in the spring of 2021 to help promote and drive the virtual gatherings. During the summer of 2021, Sarah landed her dream job, and found herself needing to pass the baton of "LadyBoss Host". Carole Burton had been an active member for many months, and gladly took the reigns.

In 2022 we on listening, awareness, self-care, and how to create a supportive community. We welcomed guest speaker Norma Noonan to discuss her view of the value of women in the workforce from 50+ years of feminist thought leadership. We grew as a community in our breakout groups, internationally, and through thought-provoking questions.

In January 2022, we took a pause. Stay tuned for what is next!

Sometimes we move so fast in life that we just do not know what we are missing. I realize now how much I was missing a network of women who can inspire me and help me grow. I found that today and I am just so thankful for that.
