Connecting with Intention to Expand Your Network

Networking is about building genuine relationships.

As our world becomes increasingly technology-driven, we are losing the human touch in our workplaces. As adults, we forget how to make friends and form connections. We believe that creating genuine relationships beyond our AI world is a crucial part of the workplace and where we live.

Transactional Networking is over. Ask yourself:

How do I network? What is my intent?

How am I meeting people where they are?

What is my approach to building trust and affinity?

Why?

Am I building relationships as a have-to?

How do I create meaningful relationships?

A human connection is more needed now than ever

As our communities, workplaces, and neighborhoods continue to shift, a greater need for human connection continues to form. We still need to talk to each other to have the AI work.

A great colleague makes us feel like we matter. Think about what happens when you complete a big project: high-five, congratulations, a sigh of relief.

I bring these ideas to organizations to help build and sustain community and trust within teams. These efforts shift the workplace culture and help employees better navigate their environment at work and beyond.

Let’s Go Back to the Basics

We all want to feel secure and live in a safe and welcoming place. We each find a way to put food on the table, pay our bills, and fulfill our dreams. We walk along with millions of others searching for the same thing. We believe that actively listening and learning to use our voice to respond powerfully promotes empathy intentionally, fosters trust, fuels innovation, and creates awareness.

How do we really listen? When we actively listen, we become aware of what the person is trying to communicate. We actively think about their message and meaning, becoming genuinely aware of the situation. This is how we meet people where they are.

How do we respond? We are learning ways to impact the financial and cultural aspects by creating common connections. We want to work for an organization that improves society because of our contributions.

Bring Carole to Your Organization

The quality people most appreciate in a friend is ego support, which is someone who makes them feel like they matter. The more you can show people that you like and value them, the better.
